As work continues across our engineering community to engineer a better world, computer architecture is pivotal to support the creation of computing systems that drive innovation across all technological domains.

New for 2024, the REACH conference will connect people around the world working in computer architecture, giving opportunities to explore and discuss the latest innovations and emerging trends.

The conference will focus on key areas of computer architecture including memory system architecture, processor microarchitecture, AI for computer architecture and simulation testing tools, as well as emerging computer architectures (such as optical, quantum and neuromorphic computing).

We're currently developing the programme for this exciting new computer science conference and invite you to submit a proposal for a poster to be displayed at the event. A great opportunity to add your voice to the conversation, alongside expert speakers from across industry and academia.

The REACH 2024 programme will cover key three topics - classical architectures, future and emerging architectures, and the key trends in industry:

  • Performance improvements for classic computing architectures
    Parallelization, manycore and multi-core architecture, novel compiler technologies, thread-level speculation, branch prediction/prefetching, instruction/memory level parallelization
  • Future computer architectures and emerging computing technologies
  • Optical computing, quantum computing, neuromorphic computing, analog computing, processing-in-memory (PIM), novel ISA architecture, novel architectures for AI
  • Key trends in industry: large-scale computing systems and AI architectures
    Considerations and metrics for large-scale systems, AI architectures
